We are currently recruiting freelance on-site Game LQA Testers for our gaming project, language pair ZHCN-EN. Wondering if you are interested in this?

Role & Key Details

This full-time freelance position is based in either Hangzhou or Shanghai. Your main responsibilities include identifying localization bugs, drafting detailed bug reports, performing regression testing, reviewing urgent pre-launch text fixes, and translating game announcements as needed.

Core requirements:

• Native Simplified Chinese speaker

• Practical ZHCN-EN game LQA experience; strong bilingual skills to spot linguistic errors in English text

• Detail-oriented game enthusiast

• Preferred: Experience working on open-world, RPG, Western anime-style or Palworld-like games

• Able to start work immediately

Project terms:

• Working hours: 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri (8h/day)

• Exact start and end dates to be confirmed

• Workflow: Information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample test and full onboarding.

Requirements

🔹 Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following):

📌 A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)

📌 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree

📌 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)

📌 A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
