The Siting and Outreach Coordinator supports siting, outreach, and regulatory compliance efforts for projects. This position is responsible for regulatory compliance tracking, document preparation, outreach logistics, stakeholder coordination, and administrative support for project deliverables. The role requires strong organization, communication, and follow-through to help ensure timely completion of regulatory compliance, outreach activities, meetings, and project-related updates.

What You’ll Do:

  • Track regulatory compliance requirements and maintain related project records.
  • Draft and maintain template regulatory and outreach documents.
  • Coordinate open house logistics, tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Track down required project information and support invoice processing to ensure timely payment.
  • Manage voicemail coordination and respond to incoming phone calls and emails as needed.
  • Maintain Ohio and I&M outreach calendars, including tracking announcements, open houses, and upcoming deliverables.
  • Update and maintain Smartsheet records and project tracking tools.
  • Support website updates and perform quarterly tracking and content updates.
  • Maintain and update operating company stakeholder and resource lists.
  • Maintain and update the siting and outreach consultant list, including quarterly revisions.
  • Host and coordinate large team meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-up support.
  • Assist with additional outreach and siting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project coordination, outreach, communications, regulatory support, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools such as Smartsheet.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.

Preferred Attributes

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, public outreach, stakeholder coordination, or utility-related projects.
  • Experience supporting meeting coordination, document tracking, and website updates.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

High school diploma or GED. Some college and/or office administrator training desirable. 3 years or more of diversified experience gained from work in various areas within the organization or similar administrative experience. Must be computer/PC competent and have experience in utilizing general administrative office procedures and practices.
