Transmission Operator-Maintainer II

We are seeking a Transmission Operator-Maintainer II to join our team in Asa Branca. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and efficient maintenance of our transmission assets, directly contributing to the reliability of energy supply.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform local operational switching activities in coordination with the remote operations team, ensuring the safe isolation of transmission systems and equipment.
  • Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on protection, transmission, and telecommunications equipment and systems, recording all interventions in the Maintenance Management System.
  • Execute inspections, functional tests, and technical assessments on the Supervision, Protection, Control, and Telecommunications (SPCT) systems of substations.
  • Monitor operations through remote control systems, identifying anomalies on monitoring screens and carrying out the necessary reporting and corrective actions.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, performing switching operations and rapid interventions to restore power supply.
  • Supervise maintenance services performed by third parties, ensuring compliance with technical standards and contractual deadlines.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports and the review of internal procedures and work instructions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electromechanics, Electronics, or related fields, with an active CFT registration.
  • Experience in power transmission companies.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SCADA supervisory systems (Elipse/Sage) and electrical testing measurement instruments.
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret technical manuals and functional diagrams.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and maintenance management software.
  • Valid Category B driver's license.
  • Proactive profile, strong interpersonal skills, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Preferred qualification: certification or qualification to operate Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), truck-mounted cranes (Munck), or forklifts.
