Content Operationsisresponsibleforsuccessfully delivering Disney’s entertainment and sports content to millions of people every day. This involves developing,operating, and managing a global content supply chain – themyriadof steps involved from taking a finalized TV show/movie, or live piece of content, from inside Disney to audiences around the globe, in their preferred language and format. This team also manages technology operations in Latin America,Europe,and Asia Pacific.

The Streaming Disney Entertainment & ESPN Transmission team supports 24/7 monitoring and operational sustainment for Linear and Event streaming products; HULU, ESPN+, and Disney+. As a member of our 24/7, highly skilled streaming transmission team, you will support critical streaming broadcast systems, oversee andanalyzingaudio/video transmissions across multiple data centers andensuringsuccessful management,monitoring,and delivery of live linear and live event broadcast streams, within the IP based transmission ecosystem. You will work withcutting edgetechnology andbe responsible forThe Walt Disney Company’s most valuable sports and entertainment content airing on our linear and event streaming platforms. What You Will Do

• Routing andmonitoringmultiple A/V feeds to and from our facilities.

• Quicklyidentifyingand resolving issues in a live production environment.

• Remotely configure hardware asrequiredfor live events and linear acquisition and distribution.

• Maintain knowledge ofnew technologyand workflows to support various assignments.

• Comply fully with company andordepartmentSOPs and any other stated policies.

• Contribute toanalysis or problem-solving measures needed to support the operation.

• Must be adept at understanding routine information anddemonstratecomprehension through operational accuracy.

• Able toworka 24/7 schedule in a fast paced, high profile Transmission Operation Center (TOC).

• Provide professional,courteous,andtimelytechnical support.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Understanding ofdigital distribution equipment for broadcast transmission.

• Basic knowledge ofIP basedtransport (HLS, RTMP, SRT, unicast, multicast,etc.)

• Musthave basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

• Modestly experienced technicalcontributorwithgood communicationskills working in a24/7 technical environment

• Prior Broadcasting experience is desirable or similartransferableexperience
