Transmission Asset Management Engineer III

We are looking for a Transmission Asset Management Engineer III to work at ENGIE Brasil Energia’s headquarters in Florianópolis. You will play a key role in managing performance indicators, administering technical contracts, and monitoring regulatory aspects, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our transmission assets.

Your responsibilities

  • Implement and lead the management of performance indicators (KPIs) for operation and maintenance assets and processes, proposing continuous improvement actions.
  • Coordinate the Variable Portion (PV) calculation process and conduct technical defenses before ONS and ANEEL, validating events in the SATRA and SAAT systems.
  • Manage technical transmission contracts, including CPST, CCI, CCT, and Concession Agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate reviews of ONS Grid Procedures and ANEEL Public Hearings, consolidating internal contributions and communicating impacts to O&M areas.
  • Support the consolidation of the Annual Maintenance Plan and the Transmission Multi-Year Needs Plan, guiding CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
  • Monitor quality audits and supervise contracted operators regarding compliance with regulatory milestones and company policies.
  • Promote training and disseminate technical knowledge to more junior team members.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Advanced or fluent English.
  • Experience in electric power transmission, with a focus on Variable Portion claims, availability, and performance indicators.
  • Solid knowledge of sector legislation and regulation (ANEEL Transmission Rules and ONS Grid Procedures).
  • Experience in Maintenance Planning and Control, Asset Management, and Risk Management in the power sector.
  • Knowledge of the Electric Sector Asset Control Manual (MCPSE).
  • Strong interpersonal profile, proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented.
  • Desirable: Postgraduate degree in the power sector or Project Management.
