This entry-level role supports transmission and interconnection efforts by developing powerflow, dynamic, and PSCAD models and assisting with production cost modeling to evaluate congestion and basis risks. Responsibilities include conducting interconnection, deliverability, and contingency analyses using tools such as PSSE, TARA, and PowerWorld; maintaining accurate transmission models; reviewing regional transmission plans; and gathering data from interconnection queues and utility plans to support scenario development. The position also involves coordinating, documenting, and building study models for interconnection applications while contributing to project development. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with foundational knowledge of power systems or energy markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
