About the Role
As a Transload Operator, you'll work outdoors transferring hazardous and non-hazardous materials between rail tank cars and tanker trucks. This is a hands-on position that involves mechanical operation, climbing railcars, and ensuring every transfer meets EPA, FRA, and OSHA standards. You'll use pumps, hoses, and valves to move products safely, monitor equipment during transfers, and complete required inspection and transfer logs.
Each day brings variety - from preparing materials for transfer by heating or venting, to checking for leaks or equipment issues, to communicating with drivers and supervisors to keep operations on schedule. You'll receive full safety training, protective gear, and ongoing support from a team that puts safety first.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in a job done right. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in all weather conditions. Prior experience in industrial labor, construction, warehouse, or mechanical work is helpful but not required - we'll train you. Because this role sometimes requires the use of a respirator, you must be clean shaven for proper fit.
