The position of the Translation Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.
Responsibilities
Project Coordinators independently execute patent translation & filing projects from start to finish, and serve as a single point of accountability for their quality, completion and profitability.
Work with a variety of clients and sales teams to deliver top-quality translations for patent prosecution, in one of the fastest-growing departments in TransPerfect.
Build and maintain working relationships with linguists and patent attorneys located around the world.
Work with greater team to understand patent filing process, so as to advise clients and sales on best practices as a knowledgeable patent expert.
Communicate effectively to manager and wider team any trending issues and work collaboratively to solve problems and improve internal processes and external offerings.
Required skills and experience:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective time management
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
Working knowledge of MS Office
Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment.
Must be willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive on success
Fluency in a foreign language and interest in IP services preferable but not required
