Job Description

Important Client of People Working Corp, dedicated to providing education and certification programs, seeks a person to perform functions such as Translation Coordinator for Spanish.

Responsible for coordinating and managing all translation projects and activities for all material other than Training Courses, in languages available on the website. Responsible for preparing standards in target languages, as well as extracting glossary for new schemes. Responsible for providing support and assistance to the Translation specialists as required.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a related field Studies in translation and interpretation of the English language.
• Advanced English Language C1
• Work from Office 100% - San Jose
• Experience in translation coordination, project management, or a similar role Translation Spanish to English or English to Spanish.
• Experiencia en sistemas y software de gestión de traducción.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all translation requests for single documents
• Provide assistance and support to Translation Specialists on their respective projects
• Maintain Translation Master List
• Collaborate with external contractors to facilitate the translation of documents, including training course materials
• Identify and obtain relevant standards in the target language and ensure their integration into the translation memory within Trados
• Prepare and align documents for efficient use within Trados
• Extract glossaries for newly initiated projects and manage the translation of glossary terms in the target language
• Prioritize tasks and projects effectively to meet deadlines and project requirements
• Uphold and promote best practices within the department, ensuring quality and consistency in translation processes.
• Execute any other duties as directed by management.
