How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop and maintain standardized component requirements across global projects.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to unify material specifications.

  • Define and drive material standardization for specifications and sizes.

  • Clarify global test methods for critical quality parameters.

  • Provide technical expertise to sourcing teams for supplier evaluation.

  • Support negotiations on technical requirements with suppliers.

  • Act as a technical guide for project teams on component engineering.

  • Stay current with advancements in component technologies and materials.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Material Science, Engineering, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering (Ph.D. with 2–3 years of experience also considered).

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience.

  • Experience in transformer industry and supplier technology development preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of component engineering and material specifications.

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill is a plus.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
