A Day in the Life

The Transformation Specialist supports the execution of transformation initiatives by contributing to the analysis, coordination, and deployment of projects aimed at improving business processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency. The role operates within a matrix organization and works closely with Transformation Managers, Program Leads, and functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Support

  • Support cross‑functional teams in the analysis, development, and execution of transformation initiatives related to key business processes.
  • Contribute to the planning, coordination, and monitoring of assigned projects or workstreams within the Transformation Program.
  • Track project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies, and prepare status updates and reporting for project and program leadership.
  • Support data collection and analysis to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to benefit tracking and ROI monitoring under guidance.
  • Apply project and change management methodologies to ensure consistent and effective execution.

Change Management & Communication

  • Support change management activities aimed at driving adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Maintain stakeholder lists and assist in executing communication plans for assigned initiatives.
  • Prepare communication materials and support alignment across stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of project objectives and progress.
  • Participate in workshops, working sessions, and meetings to support project team needs and facilitate collaboration.

Collaboration & Ways of Working

  • Work collaboratively within a matrix organization, interacting with regional, functional, and country teams.
  • Act as a reliable execution partner for Transformation Managers, Value Stream Leads, and Project Managers.
  • Demonstrate a customer‑centric mindset, contributing to initiatives that improve the patient and customer journey.

Job Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in project management, process improvement, transformation, consulting, or operational roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and matrix environment is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of change management and stakeholder communication principles.

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Italy: 38,400.00 EUR - 57,600.00 EUR | This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
