Transform the everyday for everyone

At Siemens, we enable sustainable progress through technology, connecting the real and digital worlds to improve how we live, work, and move.

We put our people first - creating a diverse, global environment where you can grow, take ownership, and make a real impact from day one.

Here, your ideas turn into innovative solutions that transform industries, infrastructure, mobility and everyday life.

Your next chapter starts here!

Your role

As Italy Transformation Program Manager, you will lead a strategic, multi-year transformation program aimed at transitioning the Italian Grid Control portfolio from locally developed solutions to Siemens Grid Software's global platform architecture based on SP7 and Gridscale X.

You will play a key role in defining the transformation strategy, evaluating migration scenarios, aligning technical and business stakeholders, and overseeing the successful execution of the roadmap. Working across Sales, Delivery, Portfolio Management, R&D, and strategic customers, you will ensure business continuity while driving modernization, standardization, and long-term value creation for the Italian installed base.

You'll make an impact by

• Leading the Italy Grid Control Transformation Program end-to-end, from strategy definition through execution and deployment.

• Defining and evaluating transition scenarios based on risk, cost, scalability, business value, and strategic alignment.

• Building business cases, migration roadmaps, implementation plans, and funding strategies.

• Managing executive governance processes, including Steering Committees, decision forums, and program reviews.

• Driving alignment between local Italian organizations and global Grid Software stakeholders.

• Coordinating cross-functional teams across Sales, Delivery, Product Management, Portfolio Management, and R&D.

• Ensuring alignment on target architecture, technology roadmap, cybersecurity requirements, and operational objectives.

• Shaping customer transformation strategies in partnership with Sales and Account teams, with a particular focus on strategic utility and infrastructure customers.

• Preparing the organization for execution through pilot initiatives, capability development, resource planning, and delivery readiness.

• Delivering measurable outcomes through the reduction of technical debt, increased adoption of standard platforms, and improved operational efficiency.

What makes you a great match

Core Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field.

• 5+ years of experience in complex program management within critical infrastructure, utility, energy, SCADA, OMS, or Grid Control environments.

• 10+ years of experience in software product management, research & development, business development, or related technology leadership roles.

• Proven track record leading large-scale transformation, modernization, or platform migration programs.

• Strong understanding of Grid Control systems, SCADA, OMS solutions, and mission-critical software environments.

• Experience working with software platform architectures, modernization initiatives, and service-based solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business, technical, and customer organizations.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in power transmission, distribution, utilities, or smart grid environments.

• Knowledge of Siemens Grid Software solutions, including SP7 and Gridscale X.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements and enterprise architecture principles.

• Experience working in international and matrix organizations.

• Knowledge of the Italian utility, DSO, or rail infrastructure market.

• Italian language skills.
