The Opportunity

We’re Hiring a Transformation Partner

We’re looking for a specialist to join our team and help lead key initiatives across our organisation and the Moonee Valley Community

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship between the key Application Owners across Council and the IT and Transformation department.
  • Manage and lead projects and business improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that all Business Systems in use by Council are fit for purpose and if not, lead the work to decommission the existing application and implement its replacement.
  • Coordinate applications lifecycle phases from discovery, planning and justification, procuring, implementing, support and decommissioning
  • Drive decisions and ownership of Council approved applications.
  • Provide guidance and or support to areas of Council to maximise workflow processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in information technology, business or other relevant discipline with some relevant experience, or extensive demonstrated experience in project management and business analysis.
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with stakeholder and vendor management.
  • Experience in the development of business cases and to outline cost vs benefit
  • Understanding of process mapping and or other continuous improvement tools
  • Experience in Local Government (desirable).
