Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transformation Manager to join our Chief Strategy & Transformation Office. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic vision, and fostering a culture of growth and innovation, while owning the impact of transformation initiatives on the business's Profit & Loss (P&L). Your responsibilities will also include developing and managing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure the impact and success of transformation projects while embracing agile principles relevant to Agile Product and Delivery Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead Strategic Transformation: Orchestrate and execute strategic transformation initiatives, assuming full ownership of their success.
  • Harness Domain Expertise Leverage extensive line-of-business knowledge in Retail, CIB, Operations, and GRC to drive seamless implementation and adoption of strategic initiatives.
  • Align Transformation with Strategic Objectives Ensure that transformation initiatives are seamlessly aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and long-term vision.
  • Champion P&L Ownership Take ownership of the financial implications of transformation initiatives on the business's Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring financial viability and alignment with business goals.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Work with data to drive informed decisions, partnering with Data Business Partners and Data Stewards to ensure that transformation initiatives are data-driven and data-compliant.
  • Deliver Comprehensive Reporting Regularly prepare detailed reports and updates for senior management and governance committees, effectively communicating the status, progress, and achievements of transformation initiatives, including their financial impact on the P&L.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate effectively with diverse departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless and unified execution of transformation efforts.
  • Navigate Change with Expertise: Devise and implement comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during transformation projects.
  • Optimize Resource Allocation Effectively allocate and manage resources to support transformation initiatives and drive successful outcomes.
  • Measure Impact with Robust KPIs Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to accurately measure the success and impact of transformation projects.
  • Embrace Agile Principles: Champion agile methodologies relevant to Agile Product Management, including iterative development, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor Progress with Vigilance Continuously monitor the progress of transformation initiatives, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues as they arise.
  • Mitigate Risks Proactively Identify potential risks and challenges associated with transformation initiatives and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Drive Innovation Collaborate closely with the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer to identify innovative opportunities and develop strategies to drive innovation within the organization.
  • Partner with EPMO Collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to streamline the execution of transformation initiatives.
  • Execute Strategic Initiatives Lead the execution of the organization's strategic initiatives, ensuring that transformation efforts align with the broader strategic goals.
  • Embrace Continuous Improvement Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing large-scale transformation projects and change initiatives.
  • Proven domain expertise (Retail or Corporate Investment Banking)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Change Management certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial and banking sector operations is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Agile Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)
