Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Powys to assist with the appointment of a Transformation Manager, on a 12-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay £26.16 - £34.58 per hour

The Transformation Manager role will be responsible for managing complex change projects, driving service improvements, ensuring governance and benefits realisation, and working collaboratively with senior leaders, stakeholders, and partner organisations to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of strategic Adult Services transformation programmes.
  • Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery within agreed quality, time, and budget constraints.
  • Develop programme governance frameworks, risk management processes, and benefits realisation plans.
  • Prepare and oversee programme plans, reports, documentation, and performance updates.
  • Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Coordinate project teams and secure additional programme resources where required.

Qualification:

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification or relevant experience.

Essentials

  • Demonstrable experience managing and delivering complex transformation programmes or projects.
  • Proven programme/project management experience.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Experience supporting organisational or service redesign.
  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership working skills.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
