Job Description

  1. Project & Portfolio Leadership
    • End-to-End Delivery: Own and drive the execution of complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs from ideation through to post-implementation review.
    • PMO Governance Setup: Define, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide project management standards, stage-gate governance frameworks, and tracking tools.
    • Risk & Issue Orchestration: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate cross-project dependencies, resource constraints, and strategic risks.
    • Financial Oversight: Manage program budgets, track actual costs against forecasts, and build robust business cases calculating ROI for future transformations.
    • Manage external vendors and consulting teams, and other duties where required.
  2. Operational Process Mapping & Target Operating Model (TOM) Design
    • Process Architecture: Lead the mapping and optimisation of Level 0 to Level 3 enterprise process frameworks, systematically identifying bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies.
    • Operating Model Alignment: Partner with executives to design the future-state Target Operating Model, including the delineation of centralised shared services versus decentralised business units.
    • Role Redesign & Span of Control: Conduct delayering assessments and manage the role-redesign process, ensuring job descriptions and human capabilities align with new organizational workflows.
    • Digital/AI Competency Framework: Develop a suitable and pragmatic framework for HQ and Centre staff, together with key stakeholders across functions.
  3. Change Management & Stakeholder Alignment
    • Change Framework Application: Design and execute comprehensive, people-centred data-driven change management strategies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci frameworks) to minimize operational disruption and maximise employee adoption.
    • Stakeholder Management: Influence, negotiate, and align diverse viewpoints across corporate Headquarters (HQ) and distributed Business Units (BUs).
    • Communication Design: Author enterprise-wide transformation narratives, impact assessments, and leadership talking points to manage change fatigue.
    • Digital/AI Adoption change management: Develop and execute a robust and pragmatic change management plan to support multiple initiatives such as Target Operating Model, Organisational Redesign, ERP replacement, post merger integration and AI roadmap and more.
  4. Workshop Facilitation & High-Impact Co-Design
    • Executive Alignment Workshops: Design and facilitate structured workshops, focus groups, and leadership cadence meetings to secure consensus on project scopes, design principles, and budgets.
    • Problem-Solving Interventions: Deploy root-cause analysis and design thinking methodologies to unblock stalled workstreams and resolve organizational friction points.
  5. Culture Building & Capability Enablement
    • Way-of-Working Modernisation: Define, foster, and measure targeted organisational mindsets and highly collaborative, agile behaviours.
    • Team Upskilling: Act as a coach and mentor to junior PMO analysts, project managers, and decentralized change champions across the business.
  6. ERP System Implementation Experience (preferred)
    • Project management and change management: Project manage, coordinate and be the change champion for ERP related projects, especially in the Finance and HCM domains.
    • Provide leadership across critical areas of the ERP project(s) milestones, ensure successful user adoption, change management and communications, helping to oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where needed.

Performance Metrics & Key KPIs

  • Portfolio Delivery Rate: Percentage of milestone targets achieved on schedule and within budget tolerances.
  • Business Benefit Realisation: Successful tracking and realisation of financial savings, operational efficiencies, or ROI defined in business cases.
  • Change Adoption Metrics: Measured speed of adoption, proficiency, and employee sentiment/buy-in regarding newly introduced processes or systems.
  • Process Optimisation: Percentage reduction in process cycle times or operational hand-off bottlenecks.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in enterprise project management, corporate transformation, or management consulting.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale organisational redesigns, Target Operating Model (TOM) developments, Digital Competency Frameworks or complex system rollouts, such as ERP.
  • Demonstrated experience working in matrices or multi-business unit environments, managing both corporate HQ priorities and frontline/distributed realities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Communications or a related discipline.

Certification Preference:

  • Project Management: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile/Scrum Master certification.
  • Change Management: Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Process Excellence: Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt). Key Competencies & Soft Skills
  • Executive Presence: Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex financial and operational problems to C-suite and Senior Leadership Teams (SLT).
  • Data-Driven Problem Solving: High analytical capability; comfortable parsing financial baselines, HCM metrics, and operational data sheets.
  • Resilience & Empathy: Strong emotional intelligence to navigate organisational dynamics, manage employee anxiety, and counter transformation fatigue.
