GENERAL PURPOSE

The Operations Transformation Analyst provides analytical and project support to the Operations Transformation team. This role assists in data collection, reporting, process monitoring, and process documentation to enable continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with small-scale projects and provide supporting tasks under close supervision.
  • Perform basic data collection and formatting; conduct analysis guided by senior team members.
  • Update existing reports and compile data for dashboards created by others.
  • Provide logistical or data support to cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in team meetings and document processes accurately.
  • Assist in testing and documenting improvements designed by others.
  • Work with pre-structured data and provide data entry and validation.
  • Communicate status updates to internal team members.
  • Execute task-based assignments as directed.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience in operations, process improvement, or data analytics within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field OR Equivalent combination of education and experience required (Such as an Associate's degree or specialized training in business, engineering technology, or data analytics and 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical certifications or training and experience in MKPS, Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt), Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Skills and Abilities

  • MillerKnoll Performance System (MKPS) or equivalent Lean training
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in Baan and/or JDE Manufacturing and/or Engineering functions
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change – ECO/ECN processes
  • Basic understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
