Redwood Waste Solutions, Inc., a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a Transfer Station Attendant out of their Transfer Station in Caspar, CA!
Schedule is Saturday - Wednesday 8AM-4:30PM.
Starting pay is $21.00 per hour Pay range for this job category is $21-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Greeting customers as they enter the transfer station, directing them where to go
Cash handling
Assessing loads/material for payment at the scale house
Ensuring all material entering the transfer station is appropriate.
Traffic directing to ensure customers park in the correct area at the transfer station
Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
General site cleanup as needed
Friendly customer service
Requirements:
At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a customer service type position.
The ability to lift up to 75 pounds in this labor-intensive position
Experience operating equipment is a plus
Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
Ability to stand on your feet throughout an 8 to 10 hour shift.
