In transfer pricing, customs and international trade at PwC, you will focus on providing guidance and support to clients on cross‑border transaction matters. In this field, you will help businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities, maintain compliance with tax regulations, and minimize the risk of disputes

The opportunity

As a Transfer Pricing,Customsand International Trade Senior Associate,you’llwork as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assistin data collection, analysis, and writing of background documents, including short memos and research papers

• Data research using both publicly accessible and firm‑specific databases

• Drafting client deliverables, including emails, letters, reports, etc.

• Follow risk management and compliance procedures

• Keep up to date with developments inareasof specialism

• Invite and give in‑the‑moment feedback in a constructive manner

• Share and collaborate effectively with others

• Identifyand make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise

• Build andmaintainan internal and external network

• Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms

Whatyou’llbring

• Business Administration, Finance,Economicsor International Business‑related degrees. A graduate degree is considered an asset

• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulatenew ideas

• Ability to manipulate public databases and PwC proprietary benchmarking tools, as well as robust skills using software applications including Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.

• You should be conscientious, self‑motivated, detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills and be able to assume responsibility for various aspects of a project within a team framework

• Ability to easily adapt and prioritize,demonstratingproject management skills to handle changing priorities

• Strong written and verbal communications skills, the ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data,factsand other information to deliver quality to our clients

The salary range for this position is $58,400 - $97,500. The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major citycentres Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary isdeterminedby your skills, experience,qualificationsand work location.
