To improve the health of the communities we serve through contemporary, innovative, quality healthcare solutions..
Schedule: Part - Time Nights (12 hours/week)
The Nursing Resources team works closely together in a cohesive environment
We work alongside charge nurses and leaders to assign staff and patients to appropriate units to ensure the best patient care
Our Nursing Resources team consists of Bed Control Specialists, Staffing Coordinators and Direct Call Specialists serving Freeman West and Freeman East
The Transfer Center Nurse facilitates safe, efficient patient transfers by triaging clinical data and coordinating bed placement. They serve as the primary point of contact for external hospitals seeking to refer patients to the health system, ensuring that every transition is medically appropriate and timely.

Locally owned and nationally recognized, Freeman Health System includes Freeman Hospital West, Freeman Hospital East, Freeman Neosho Hospital and Ozark Center – the area’s largest provider of behavioral health services – as well as two urgent care clinics, dozens of physician clinics and a variety of specialty services. A not-for-profit health system, Freeman provides cancer care, heart and vascular care, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopaedics, children’s services, and women’s services and has more than 300 physicians on staff. Additionally, Freeman is the only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in a 70-mile radius.
Freeman offers a wide variety of career opportunities, a great work culture, and generous benefits. We like to think of our health system as a small city—in addition to clinical staff such as nurses and doctors, we also have accountants, groundskeepers, chefs, baristas, receptionists, security guards, shuttle bus drivers, and more! We consider all our employees to be caregivers, no matter their position, because they all make a difference in our patients’ lives in one way or another.
