We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Transfer Agency Processor

In this role, you will:

  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using your own initiative to deliver consistent customer support.
  • Priorities tasks and manage your time well, ensuring customer requests are handled accurately within agreed timeframes.
  • Identify and escalate potentially critical issues promptly, helping protect customers and the business by involving the right teams at the right time.
  • Highly effective communication by telephone and in writing, ensuring messages are accurate, courteous, and easy to understand.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to support and engage clients at all levels in a clear, professional manner.
  • Confident in identifying and escalating issues promptly when they may impact the Bank’s client relationships or service standards.
  • Solid understanding of AML/KYC requirements as they apply to Transfer Agency activities, supporting compliant and consistent client service.
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Review KYC documentation promptly and accurately for both new and existing investors and maintain a 100% accurate KYC status record in the AML database.
  • Archive and scan documentation appropriately to ensure files are stored correctly and can be retrieved quickly when needed.

To be successful you will:

  • A graduate/ post-graduate diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking is a must have requirement. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position. Any AML/KYC Risk management certification
  • Knowledge of securities industry in AML & KYC essential and preferably experience in handling Mutual Fund investors AML/KYC
  • At least 2-3 years of Prior experience in Transfer Agency AML KYC Process or relevant AML KYC experience for same duration.
  • Working knowledge and prior experience/understanding of regulations such as GDPR, FATCA and CRS, CSSF.
  • Demonstration of strong knowledge of TA Operational Transaction Activity for the UK/Europe/Asia industry.In the current role for 12 Months.
  • Multi-cultural background or experience, ability to work across broad range of cultures in support of HSBC Group values and objectives
  • CISI – Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Certifications
  • Understanding of Market and Mutual Fund operations desirable
  • Practical experience of process reviews and re-engineering would be beneficial.
  • Since it is role that caters to markets in different time zone, the candidate must be flexible to working in different shifts including day shifts, early morning, and evening shifts.
