Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Transaction Specialist II and make a significant impact by ensuring seamless processing of customer transactions.

As a Transactions Specialist II at JPMorgan Chase, you will make a significant impact by ensuring seamless processing of customer transactions. Our Westerville, Ohio location processes approximately 20,000 transactions per month, with daily volume driven by USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries. The main objective is to expedite deposit/payment processing by the end of the workday to meet our regulatory requirements. All transactions are screened for negotiability standards and are processed using Teller Express.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide superior service aligned to the organization’s “Our Values”: Service, Heart, Curiosity, Courage, and Excellence.
  • Process deposits and payments accurately and efficiently while meeting quality standards.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and negotiability standards; ensure work is completed end-to-end with strong mindfulness.
  • Identify exceptions or risks in the process and escalate issues appropriately and timely.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture; support teammates to ensure daily processing is completed.
  • Assist with peer support and training on new functions and process changes.
  • Adapt quickly to change, including updates to procedures, leadership priorities, technology enhancements, and workload shifts.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • One plus years of banking/teller or high-volume transaction processing experience; working knowledge of negotiability standards
  • Proven ability to manage daily workload to SLAs, adjust priorities as new items arrive, and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned to team goals and supporting shared completion of daily work.
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace change and perform effectively in a frequently evolving environment.
  • Maintain a daily positive internal and external interaction with peers, management, and business partners.
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow defined processes from start to finish.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise. Work schedule might be subject to change.
