Join our Finance team on a 8‑month fixed‑term contract and help keep Tauranga City Council’s financial systems running smoothly. We’re looking for a detail‑focused and customer‑centred people to support our transactional services
You’ll focus on daily banking activities, including processing payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving any mismatches. You’ll also support our wider revenue, rating and debt collection processes.
What you’ll be doing:
We’re looking for someone who enjoys accuracy, numbers, and problem‑solving. You’ll also be comfortable working with customers and providing clear, friendly explanations.
You will have:
A relevant qualification at trade certificate or diploma level (or equivalent experience) is beneficial but not essential.
