Job Description

Are you ready to shape the financial performance of one of GE Vernova Gas Power’s largest global services businesses? We are seeking a Transactional Core FP&A Leader to provide strategic financial leadership for our ~$3B Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (HDGT) Transactional Core Services portfolio.

In this role, you will partner across Finance, Commercial, Sales, Services, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Operations. You will blend FP&A expertise with commercial strategy and operational transformation to drive growth, profitability, cash generation, and portfolio visibility. Working directly with senior stakeholders, you will translate business priorities into clear financial insights, operating rhythms, and execution plans to support strategic decision-making.

Transactional Core FP&A Leader

Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Leadership

  • Full-Cycle FP&A:Own financial planning and analysis for the ~$3B Transactional Core business, managing forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, monthly close, and portfolio analytics.
  • Performance Optimization:Drive measurable improvements across growth, profitability, working capital, and cash generation metrics.
  • Financial Reporting:Consolidate and communicate the end-to-end outlook; prepare executive-ready financial reviews (Long Range Forecasts, Budgets, Early Reads, and Monthly Operating Reviews).

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with regional ITRs, Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, Fulfillment Finance, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Operations to convert strategic priorities into financial outcomes.
  • Operational Execution:Develop and implement operating playbooks to improve performance against orders, revenue, margin, cash, and productivity targets.
  • Strategic Counsel:Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership to strengthen decision-making and overall portfolio performance.

Operational Transformation

  • MMP Contract Utilization:Enhance visibility into customer utilization versus minimum commitments to enable proactive commercial actions and operational planning.
  • Order Booking Transformation:Assess order recognition and forecasting using commercial pipeline and Salesforce data to drive accountability.
  • Governance & Roadmap:Support the operationalization of the MMP Transformation roadmap through sustainable rhythms and financial governance.
  • Profitability Management:Collaborate with Commercial and Pricing teams to develop strategies that mitigate inflationary market impacts.
  • Enterprise Initiatives:Support initiatives focused on service execution and fleet readiness, including Integrated Services Management (ISM), Non-Capital Parts Center of Excellence, and "Ready-to-Serve" programs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Finance Transformation:Lead efforts focused on standardization, simplification, automation, and the delivery of actionable business insights.
  • Reporting Excellence:Improve financial and operational visibility through advanced analytics, standard work, and modern reporting tools.
  • Cultural Leadership:Champion best practices across Services FP&A and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit (or equivalent outside the U.S.).
    • Minimum of 2 years in a finance leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate of GE Finance Management Programs (e.g., FMP, OFLP/CAS).

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
