We are seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join our Business Development team. In this role you will manage the full life cycle of M&A transactions on both the buy and sell sides, with a particular focus on the energy sector—especially battery-storage projects. Your work will span corporate structuring, strategic advisory and execution.
Examples of the team’s recent activities include:
- Cross-border structuring of Group operations
- Engaging with some of the largest global investment firms
- Securing financing for expansion and operations
- Merger negotiations with a developer in Japan
- Market entry strategy across new countries and continents
- Acquisition and divestment of BESS projects in Germany
- Establishment of investment and holding structures
- Shareholder and corporate governance matters
What would you work on?
- Leading end-to-end transaction structuring and managing coordination across internal and external stakeholders
- Securing smooth operations of the projects after the transactions close.
- Advising company leadership and the board on strategic decisions.
- Applying your expertise—whether in financial modeling or contract negotiation—depending on your background.
- Interpreting complex transactions for internal stakeholders, highlighting risks and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Taking ownership of specific subject areas, with the potential of becoming a subject-matter expert within the company.

- You bring 5+ years of relevant full-time professional experience (this is a mid or senior level role).
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus—as is a Patagonia vest.
- You have excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail—you might be the final reviewer across workstreams.
- You’re eager to learn, grow, and work hands-on in a scale-up.
