This job is responsible for independently processing complex transactions supporting the movement of account assets and other fulfillment processing. Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of issue resolution, working across multiple operations and product specialists, and ensuring procedures are clearly documented and up to date. Job expectations include supporting projects, initiatives and preparing executive-level reports and presentations.

This role involves buy-in processing across multiple entities, product types, and regulatory buy-in frameworks, with additional responsibility for providing day-to-day oversight and coordination of team activities.
Primary responsibilities include overseeing buy-in notices and executions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and internal deadlines, and reducing exposure related to unresolved trades and stock record shortages.
Responsibilities:
- Leads end-to-end resolution of complex client issues and inquiries, including research, escalation and approvals for items with high levels of monetary risk
- Drives execution of complex financial and non-financial client transactions• Supports process improvements, requirements, and initiatives across multiple stakeholders
- Performs quality assurance reviews, testing, and training to ensures high performance accuracy of performance metrics and quality standards
- Supports risk management and audit processes, including identification of issues, development of mitigation strategies, and exam preparation
- Reviews and updates written procedures to ensure accuracy
- Supports operational team projects and production of executive-level reports and presentations for senior management as needed
- Oversee daily buy-in processing activities, including notices, executions, and trade-resolution activity, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory and internal deadlines.
- Review and approve buy-in entries, executions, and market orders as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to buy-in requirements under FINRA, SEC, NSCC, MSRB Rule G‑12(h), and MSLA, and guide team members in applying these requirements correctly.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex issues, including unresolved breaks, regulatory deadlines, and firm/client exposure, and determine appropriate next steps.
- Lead team meetings, including daily/weekly discussions on breaks, fails, and risk items, and drive resolution-focused outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and highlights to senior leadership, including risk exposure, volume trends, and key issues requiring attention.
- Oversee trade, settlement, stock record, and buy-in data to identify discrepancies, risk exposure, and escalation items, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Provide oversight of International Broker Dealer Settlements, including coordination, risk identification, and execution accuracy.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with contra brokers, clients, trading desks, and internal operations teams, and support team members in managing communications effectively.
- Support training, onboarding, and development of team members, including sharing knowledge and reinforcing procedures and best practices.
- Manage competing priorities across both individual workload and team oversight responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate in and drive process improvement initiatives, while recognizing that deeper process transformation may require subject-matter expertise development
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Global Markets Operations Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in securities operations, trade settlement, stock loan, prime brokerage, buy-ins, fails management, or trade support.
- Demonstrated experience providing team guidance, oversight, or acting as a point of escalation within an operations environment.
- Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DTCC, CNS/NSCC, FINRA, SEC, or other securities market regulatory frameworks.
- Experience using DTCC SmartTrack, internal trade-resolution systems, Excel, Alteryx, workflow tools, or similar applications.
- Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
