A.
SUMMARY OF
ROLE:


The Senior Transaction Banking Officer is responsible for
driving the growth, sales, and delivery of transaction banking products and
services for corporate, SME, and semi-government clients. The role focuses on
expanding digital banking adoption, managing strategic client relationships,
achieving business targets, and supporting the implementation of transaction
banking solutions including Corporate Internet Banking (CIB), Remote Deposit
Capture (RDC), cash management solutions, and corporate credit cards. The role
also provides guidance to junior staff, supports business development
initiatives, and ensures compliance with regulatory and internal policies while
maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsibilities


Sales & Revenue Growth



Achieve
assigned financial and revenue targets in line with the transaction banking
business plan.



Drive
sales and utilization of transaction banking products including CIB, RDC,
corporate credit cards, and cash management solutions.



Monitor
portfolio performance and identify opportunities to enhance revenue generation
and profitability.



Support
the development and execution of sales strategies to increase market
penetration and wallet share.


Business Development & Client Acquisition



Identify
and acquire new corporate, SME, and semi-government clients within target
market segments.



Lead
client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote
transaction banking solutions.



Develop
tailored solutions based on customer requirements and business needs.



Build and
maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.


Client Relationship Management



Manage and
strengthen relationships with key corporate clients to ensure long-term
business retention and growth.



Act as a
trusted advisor to clients by understanding their transaction banking
requirements and providing suitable solutions.



Ensure
high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and timely
issue resolution.



Conduct
regular client visits to identify opportunities for cross-selling and service
enhancement.


Cross-Selling & Product Promotion



Promote
and cross-sell transaction banking products and other banking services
including POS, trade finance, treasury, retail, and insurance products.



Support
integrated solution selling to maximize client value and increase product
penetration.



Identify
opportunities to expand existing relationships and increase utilization of
digital banking channels.


Digital Transformation & Adoption



Drive
digital transformation initiatives by promoting migration from manual banking
processes to digital channels.



Educate
clients on the benefits, security, and operational efficiency of digital
banking solutions.



Support
onboarding, implementation, and activation of transaction banking platforms and
services.



Monitor
product utilization trends and recommend initiatives to improve customer
adoption and engagement.


Customer Service & Operational Support



Provide
high-quality and professional customer service to corporate clients and
internal stakeholders.



Ensure
timely resolution of customer inquiries, complaints, and operational issues.



Coordinate
with internal departments to ensure smooth processing and delivery of
transaction banking services.



Maintain
service quality standards in line with bank policies and customer expectations.


Process Innovation, Automation & Digitalization:



Drive
continuous process improvement through innovative, automated, and digital
solutions once required


Business Control & Governance



Ensure
adherence to the bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and industry
standards in all operational activities.


Self/People Development & Continuous Learning:



Continually
update oneself through knowledge acquisition, on-the-job training, or project
involvement; advocate and support others to do the same.


Requirements

Omani Nationals Only
·

Bachelor’s degree in
Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field.
·

3–5 years of experience in
Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, or related roles.
