Job Description

The Global Client Executive is a pivotal, senior-level role responsible for managing and growing our most important top-tier corporate client relationships. You will serve as the primary interface for a dedicated client portfolio, acting as their advocate within Citi and a trusted strategic advisor. Your mission is to drive revenue growth and retention by ensuring an unparalleled client experience, fostering deep partnerships with key decision-makers, and strategically aligning Citi’s products and services with their business objectives.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting partnerships with key client executives and decision-makers, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for their treasury and financial needs.

Strategic Revenue Growth: Take commercial ownership of your client portfolio. Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic growth, including cross-selling and up-selling of Treasury and Trade Solutions, to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Data-Driven Strategic Insight: Leverage client feedback, performance data, and market trend analysis to provide strategic insights that enhance client satisfaction, inform investment decisions, and foster measurable business growth.

Executive-Level Client Advocacy: Champion client needs within the organization. Collaborate seamlessly with internal partners across Sales, Product, Operations, and Service to resolve complex issues promptly and ensure superior client outcomes.

Strategic Account Planning: Lead proactive relationship reviews with key clients to understand their strategic objectives. Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that drive product adoption, ensure revenue realization, and align with the client’s long-term goals.

Proactive Stakeholder Communication: Ensure internal stakeholders are proactively informed of client needs, product requirements, and strategic priorities to foster alignment and drive execution.

Qualifications:

A university degree or Equivalent experience.

5+ years of work experience in a senior client-facing role within corporate banking, relationship management, or sales, with a proven track record of leading high-impact strategic projects.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop forward-looking plans that deliver sustainable growth and a competitive advantage.

Leadership: Proven experience in motivating and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious strategic goals.

Business Acumen: A deep understanding of global business, financial drivers, and the treasury solutions landscape.

Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and strategically engage diverse internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.

Problem-Solving: A strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify complex challenges and design innovative, strategic solutions.

A proven track record of autonomous strategic leadership, ownership, and independent execution of complex tasks.
