We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to drive the growth and innovation of our Cross-Border Payments and Transaction FX business within Global Transaction Banking.
This role is primarily responsible for the end-to-end management of cross-border payment and transaction FX products, including product strategy, commercialization, profitability, customer experience, and product development. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the bank's payments proposition amid rapidly evolving customer expectations, regulatory changes, and advances in payment technologies.
As a secondary responsibility, the candidate will lead the development and commercialization of the bank's e-Invoicing proposition, particularly within the SME segment, to deepen customer engagement and strengthen the bank's cash management ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combines strong product management capabilities with a deep understanding of transaction banking, payments infrastructure, and digital transformation trends.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cash management solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You'll also need to stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure our solutions remain competitive and compliant.
What you do
Cross Border Payments and Transaction FX Product
1. Own and manage the Cross-Border Payments and Transaction FX product portfolio, with accountability for product performance, revenue growth, profitability, customer adoption and market competitiveness.
2. Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned with the bank's transaction banking objectives and evolving customer needs.
3. Identify market opportunities through customer insights, transaction analytics, competitive intelligence and industry trends.
4. Define product value propositions, business cases, success metrics and commercialization strategies for new product launches and enhancements.
5. Lead product pricing strategy, fee structures, bundling initiatives, and profitability optimization across customer segments.
6. Monitor product performance and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities and recommend product enhancements.
7. Manage the full product lifecycle, including ideation, development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement and retirement of products when appropriate.
8. Partner with Sales, Relationship Managers, Client Services, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance and Marketing teams to deliver successful product outcomes.
9. Support client engagements and strategic opportunities by providing product expertise and solutioning capabilities.
Product Improvement and Innovation
1. Drive innovation initiatives to enhance customer payment journeys, improve straight-through processing and simplify cross-border transaction experiences.
2. Lead end-to-end product improvement initiatives, working closely with Technology and Operations teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions.
3. Translate customer pain points and market opportunities into actionable product requirements and business cases.
4. Drive adoption of emerging payment technologies, digital channels, API-based services and industry standards.
5. Stay abreast of developments in cross-border payments, real-time payment systems, ISO 20022, digital commerce ecosystems and fintech innovations.
E-Invoicing Proposition Management
1. Own and grow the bank's e-Invoicing proposition, with a focus on SME customers.
2. Drive commercialization and customer adoption of e-Invoicing solutions as part of the bank's broader cash management offering.
3. Monitor market developments, customer adoption trends, and regulatory initiatives relating to e-Invoicing.
Risk and Governance
1. Ensure compliance with product governance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
2. Embed risk controls, fraud prevention measures, and operational resilience considerations into product design and implementation.
3. Monitor regulatory developments relating to payments, AML, sanctions, financial crime compliance, and cross-border transaction requirements.
4. Assess the impact of changing market practices and industry standards, including ISO 20022, on the product portfolio.
