­Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc., in Orlando, Florida is looking for a Training Support Associate (INTERNSHIP).

  • Must be currently enrolled in bachelor’s program. Business, Hospitality or Marketing major is preferred from a four-year College or University. Sophomore or Junior year students preferred.
  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work 28 hours a week minimum. During School students can work a max of 28 hours a week during business hours and During school Breaks can work up to 40 hours a week as needed. (We will work around your school schedule).
  • Length of Internship: 1 Year and could extend longer OR turn into a full-time position with approved headcount.
  • Target start date is prior to June 8th and must be able to work over the Summer.

The Training Support Associate provides hands‑on support for training operations and event execution for Outage Services. The primary focus will be supporting, coordinating, and executing training activities, conferences, and events. This role emphasizes ground‑level execution, logistics coordination, and operational support during live training events, while also contributing to ongoing training administration and Learning Management System (LMS) standardization efforts. The tasks performed will be under the guidance of the Training team to support effective, consistent, and compliant training deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the on‑site execution of in‑person training and conference activities, including room setup and breakdown, material(s) preparation, and daily readiness checks
  • Provide session support during training activities, including attendance tracking, trainer assistance, and real‑time logistical coordination
  • Assist with managing session transitions, room resets, and end‑of‑day breakdown activities
  • Serve as an on‑site support resource for attendees, trainers, and training staff during conference execution.
  • Provide ongoing administrative and operational support for training programs.
  • Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) standardization and improvement initiatives, including but not limited to, supporting data reviews, documentation updates, process alignment, and identification of opportunities to improve training workflows and reporting accuracy
  • Support the organization and maintenance of training documentation, rosters, schedules, and reporting materials.
  • Support development of basic training communications, job aids, and internal coordination materials.
  • Assist with post‑training ‑event follow‑up activities, including documentation updates and feedback collection.
  • Perform other duties as required to support training operations and successful event execution
  • Utilize technology to enhance work efforts and prepare reports that represent data obtained through a variety of platforms.
  • Actively engage in the continual improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Adhere and implement branding initiatives as directed by corporate and the Marketing and Communications team.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Business, Hospitality, or Marketing major, is preferred. Sophomore or Junior year is preferred.
  • Knowledge of database, project management, spreadsheet, word processing software, and electronic mail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) Software. Visio and One Note experience a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and must not require employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

The employee may be required to adhere to Mitsubishi Power and the customer’s safety procedures including but not limited to, the use of personal protection equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, goggles, hearing and fall protection).
