Position Purpose
The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing technical training
operations within the manufacturing environment. This role drives onboarding, orientation,
and on-the-job training programs to ensure employees are properly trained, certified, and
aligned with operational standards.
This position also partners closely with Operations and Quality leadership to build a capable,
compliant, and continuously improving workforce.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
• Supervise, coach, and support Technical Trainers responsible for shopfloor training and
development
• Lead and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
• Oversee cross-training, certification, and skills development for shopfloor employees
• Conduct training needs assessments and develop training plans aligned with operational
priorities
• Maintain a centralized training calendar for onboarding, refresher, and role-based
training
• Audit training completions and ensure accurate tracking and compliance
• Deliver Team Leader orientation and ongoing leadership training programs
• Partner with Operations and Quality Group Leaders to ensure training alignment across
departments
• Ensure training processes are standardized and consistently executed across shifts
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance workforce
capability
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and development
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education,
Business, Engineering, or related field
• 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing, technical training, workforce development,
or operations
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional methods
• Proven experience delivering training to hourly workforce and frontline leadership
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting safety, quality, or continuous improvement initiatives
• Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, ISO, or similar manufacturing standards
• Experience training Team Leaders or first-line supervisors
• Lean, Six Sigma, or adult learning certifications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
