
The BYD After Sales Service Center manages service and maintenance for our hybrid and fully electric vehicles across Europe. Key responsibilities include building a robust after-sales service network, providing technical support, calculating Life Cycle Costs to assist sales, expanding the spare parts business, and delivering training programs. Focused on ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, we are now looking for a Training Specialist for the After-sales Training Section This role will be vital in organizing after-sales training and supporting training executives and engineers in delivering training to service providers and customers.
The Training Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily operations of BYD training activities to ensure effective, professional, and high-quality training delivery in Sweden. This role supports technical and non-technical training programs by managing training planning, administration, logistics, facilities, LMS activities, and trainee experience. This role reports directly to the Aftersales Manager in Sweden.
Training Needs & Resource Planning
Collect and analyze training needs and demands from regional markets and dealers.
Review and validate training requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
Plan and coordinate training resources including trainers, training facilities, vehicles, tools, equipment, and learning materials.
Support annual and quarterly training planning activities.
Training Planning & Coordination
Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and certification activities.
Maintain and communicate training calendars, participant lists, and training schedules.
Coordinate with trainers, subject matter experts, dealers, and external partners.
Manage trainee registrations, attendance tracking, certificates, and training records.
Support Learning Management System (LMS) administration, course setup, and reporting.
Training Preparation & Logistics
Prepare all training requirements including vehicles, tools, equipment, parts, classrooms, booklets, and digital learning materials.
Ensure training facilities, workshop bays, live-stream studios, and classroom equipment are fully ready before each session.
Arrange logistics such as venue booking, catering, transportation, and training materials.
Monitor the availability and condition of training assets and equipment.
Training Delivery Support
Provide operational support during classroom, workshop, virtual, and live-stream training sessions.
Welcome and support trainees during training activities.
Support trainers during practical sessions, assessments, and examinations.
Ensure smooth execution of training operations and compliance with company standards.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Collect and analyze training feedback, attendance data, and training performance results.
Prepare training reports and summarize improvement actions.
Support post-training evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor training effectiveness and support employee skill development tracking.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with internal departments and regional teams to support training objectives.
Act as the main operational contact for trainers and trainees.
Support new training initiatives and process improvements.
Ensure effective communication and follow-up with all stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, or in a Technical filed (Electrical, Mechanic or any other related filed), or a related field is often preferred.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in training and development,
Organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and generate reports on training effectiveness.
Fluency in English and Swedish, Chinese is a plus.
Microsoft Word, Excel. High level of Power Point creating skills.
