About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Specialist to join our Organizational Planning & Development team. This role is crucial in shaping our talent development landscape, ensuring our employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge to drive organizational success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of instructional design expertise, facilitation skills, and a strategic mindset for talent development. Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Quality Instructional Design: Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses, design, develop, and update engaging and effective training curricula, materials, and lesson plans. Ensure all content maintains professional depth, reflects meticulous attention to detail, and provides an exceptional learning experience.
  • Facilitation & Internal Instruction: Serve as a lead internal trainer for key programs, delivering impactful sessions and elevating the organization's teaching standards. Explore and utilize external training resources while tracking changes in the external training market.
  • Talent Development Execution: Design and drive High-Potential (HiPo) and succession plans. Manage the full cycle from assessment to Individual Development Plans (IDPs), with a focus on refining programs based on nuanced feedback and organizational needs.
  • Effectiveness Evaluation & Optimization: Design and implement a robust training evaluation system utilizing models such as Kirkpatrick to track the tangible impact of training on performance. Continuously optimize the learning ecosystem based on evaluation results and data-driven insights.
  • Program Management & Innovation: Formulate and implement special training plans. Design innovative training forms and methods. Develop new courses and topics, ensuring alignment with company management systems and talent development programs.
  • Strategic Alignment: Assist the company in preparing comprehensive training plans and ensuring all training initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and talent development strategies.
  • Adaptability: Be prepared for reassignment to various work specified by the Company, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on different business challenges and exposure to different domains.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Management, Educational Psychology, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in training management, execution, and facilitation, with extensive teaching and course development experience. Experience in large-scale or multinational environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of human resource management expertise, related policies & regulations, and familiarization with company management systems and talent development programs.
  • Exceptional curriculum planning skills and strong communicative influence; ability to accurately identify and address employee needs.
  • Proficiency in English and strong computer skills(including Office software).
  • Strong project management and coordination skills; excellent logical thinking, ability to drive impact, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • A highly thoughtful and empathetic mindset, with excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills and the ability to consider the feelings of all stakeholders when designing solutions.
  • Capable of independently managing complex talent projects with a systematic approach to process integration.
  • Hard-working, research-minded, rooted and mission-critical; strong curiosity and learning ability; open-minded and logical; good stress tolerance and willing to accept new tasks/challenges.
  • Have clear personal goals and career planning; strong affinity, empathy, professionalism, integrity, honesty, and commitment.

Working Conditions
1. Location: (Immediately after hiring) 4106-1 Haramizu, Kikuyou-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto, 869-1102  (Scope of Change) Location determined by the Company
2. Working Hours: 8:30~17:30
3. Holidays/Vacations: Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays / GW vacation, Year-end and New Year vacations *Follows the vacation regulations according to the company calendar
