MANTECH seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Training Specialist to join our team in Alexandria, VA. This is a hybrid (partially remote) position, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work.

The Training Specialist must exhibit sound judgment when interfacing with government and contract personnel, set a positive example of work performance, and strictly adhere to professional standards, corporate and government operational guidelines, and security protocols. This role involves engaging agency personnel and contractor staff to promote the effective use of information technologies across key business areas, including service management, infrastructure and engineering support, and communications services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Training & Documentation: Design, develop, and deliver technical training and produce reference materials supporting customer IT initiatives.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Instruction: Conduct training across various formats, including one-on-one, small group, large group, virtual, and ad hoc sessions.
• Collaboration: Work independently and within small teams to support IT-related training content and objectives.
• Standards & Compliance: Adhere to customer and training team style guidelines, standards, and reporting requirements. Coordinates with subject matter experts to ensure that prepared instructional media meet stated objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, information technology, business administration, management information systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience and/or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for formal education.
• 10+ years of experience in training and/or information technology
• 5+ years of experience delivering training such as course development, in‑person instruction, or virtual training.
• Experience developing technical training materials and documentation and delivering IT systems training in both live and virtual environments or equivalent teaching experience.
• Experience writing, revising, editing and performing QA/QC on technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One or more technical certifications (Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Educator, etc.).
• Experience delivering technical training via remote training tools such as MS Teams and Cisco Webex.
• Experience with Adobe Captivate

Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a position of Public Trust.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
