
The Training Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering engaging and effective learning programs for onsite teams in accordance with the policies, procedures, and standards established in the Pedcor Homes Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual.
The Training Specialist will provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to reinforce learning, promote employee development, and encourage the successful application of skills and knowledge in the workplace.
The goals of the Training Specialist are to:
A. Assist with the training and development of site personnel, as requested, in accordance with the policies and procedures established in the Pedcor Homes SOP.
B. Represent Pedcor Homes in a professional, courteous, and positive manner when interacting with co-workers, residents, and the general public.
C. Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to reinforce training, strengthen job-related skills, and encourage continued employee development.
D. Promote consistent understanding and application of Pedcor Homes policies, procedures, systems, and operational standards.
The Training Specialist reports directly to the Director of Training for Pedcor Homes
The Training Specialist will work collaboratively with Property Managers, Area Managers, Regional Managers, supervisors, and other designated personnel to support organizational training and development needs.
The Training Specialist is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and performance while supporting the training and development needs of Pedcor Homes employees. Performance should consistently meet the expectations and requirements established by Pedcor Homes.
Display and maintain a high level of professionalism in all working relationships and interactions with employees, residents, management, and the general public.
Complete assigned training and support responsibilities as requested by the employee’s direct supervisor, Property Manager, Area Manager, or Regional Manager.
Responsibilities may include training, coaching, support, and guidance related to, but not limited to, the following:
The Training Specialist may be required to travel approximately 15%–20% of the time to support onsite training and other business needs.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employee’s direct Supervisor, Property Manager, Area Manager and/or Regional Manager, consistent with the needs of Pedcor Homes and the requirements of the position.
Work cooperatively as a member of the Pedcor Homes team and communicate appropriately, professionally, and effectively with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, and other individuals with whom the Training Specialist interacts in the course of performing job duties.
