Job Description

Are you interested in joining the world of international storage and distribution of bulk liquids, tankers, terminals, aquaculture, and LNG? Stolt-Nielsen’s fast growing Global Shared Service Center (GSSC) team in Manila is looking for a Training Specialist.

Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL) is the specialist storage and transportation provider for bulk liquids: chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels, and oleochemicals. We also focus on opportunities in aquaculture & LNG. Stolt-Nielsen plays an essential part in the global supply chain and every one of our people contributes to our success.

What you will be doing

The Training Specialist shall provide support to the Global Shared Service Center on all aspects of Training, Learning, and Development (T,L&D). He/ She is expected to develop and implement knowledge management initiatives related to acquiring, enhancing, and safeguarding knowledge in the GSSC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and ensure delivery of learning programs that will support the Global Shared Service Centre to deliver on committed services.
  • Safeguard business and process knowledge in the GSSC by implementing a robust documentation standard and ensure updates regularly.
  • Ensure alignment of skills to service requirements, including identification of knowledge gaps and creating development plans to close identified gaps.
  • Develop and implement onboarding and offboarding programs for the GSSC.
  • Stimulate curiosity and promote employee engagement in the workplace.
  • Implement resource continuity initiatives to ensure sufficient backup resources for key positions. This includes ensuring that succession plan initiatives are implemented to develop the talent pipeline.
  • Perform other ad-hoc activities that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management or equivalent

  • 5 years’ experience in Training, Learning & Development

  • Exposure to Shared Service Centre environment is a plus

  • Experience working in a dynamic global organization is a plus

  • Collaborative mindset

  • Operational and result driven behaviour

  • Detail oriented, trustworthy and can handle and maintain confidential information

  • Skilled at working effectively in a multi-cultural, global organization

  • Excellent communication and persuasive writing and verbal ability

  • Ability to collaborate in various team-oriented environments

  • Excellent presentation and organization skills
