As a Training Rig Specialist, you will be responsible for operating the training department drilling rigs. You will work with the team leads to ensure the equipment is kept adequately maintained and presentable for use in the training environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Changing out tools on the rig floor and troubleshooting problems associated with running the rig.
  • Running tests on the various drilling equipment and collecting the resulting data.
  • Handling special projects as required.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have 3+ years' experience released to drilling equipment.
  • Have knowledge of all safety policies and procedures for working around rig equipment.
  • Be forklift certified, or able to complete certification requirements.
  • Have knowledge of the related products, processes and equipment involved.
  • Be able to lift heavy tools repetitively.
  • Work in the elements. (I.E. Hot, Cold, Outside)
