Job Description

About Us

Praemium was established in 2001 to simplify and streamline the complexities of wealth management. Today, we offer the only fully integrated platform that allows every part of an investor's wealth to be managed in one place. Managing over $67 billion in funds under administration for leading institutions and private wealth firms, we deliver innovative technology and exceptional service to our clients.

We pride ourselves on empowering financial advisers to efficiently manage the wealth of people in Australia. Join us on our mission to redefine wealth management and help shape the future of financial services!

The Role

As a result of continued national growth, Praemium is seeking a commercially minded Training & Relationship Manager to partner with private wealth and IFA advice practices across our market-leading platform suite.

Working closely with the New Business Managers, this role is responsible for building trusted adviser relationships, driving platform adoption and delivering high-impact onboarding and enablement experiences.

This is not a traditional support role. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to advisers and practice teams, helping them embed Praemium’s solutions into their business, navigate complex onboarding and transition activity, and maximise long-term value from the
platform.

Success in this role is defined by adviser confidence, advocacy, retention and relationship growth - not transactional servicing.

You

We are seeking candidates who are naturally proactive, commercially curious and confident building relationships with sophisticated advice businesses.

You thrive in externally facing environments, enjoy influencing outcomes and know how to balance relationship management with strategic execution. You are comfortable engaging with advisers, principals and senior practice staff, and can confidently communicate both the value of technology and the commercial impact it can have on an advice business.

You are someone who:

  • Builds credibility quickly and communicates with confidence.
  • Takes ownership and follows through.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
  • Is naturally proactive in overall approach to work
  • Brings strong commercial awareness and professional judgement.
  • Can manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • Enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver strong adviser outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and enablement programs for private wealth and IFA advice practices.
  • Deliver tailored platform training and strategic guidance to advisers and practice teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with advisers and key stakeholders across aligned client portfolios.
  • Partner closely with New Business Managers to support adviser growth, retention and platform advocacy.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen adviser engagement and increase platform adoption.
  • Project manage complex onboarding, transition and implementation activity across internal teams.
  • Act as a key escalation point, applying judgement and ownership to deliver strong client outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and relationship management data to support strategic engagement.

Desired Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • RG146 completed or underway, or equivalent tertiary qualifications in business, finance or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a client facing role within investment platforms, financial services, private wealth or a related environment.
  • Experience working with financial advisers across private wealth and retail/IFA markets.
  • Strong presentation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to build trusted adviser relationships.
  • Highly organised, self-directed and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with investment platform technology, managed accounts or custody solutions highly regarded.

What We Offer

  • Flexible hybrid work environment - split your time between home and the office.
  • Competitive salary with annual performance incentive.
  • Comprehensive leave benefits, including paid parental leave and purchased leave options.
  • Access to novated leasing and financial wellness courses.
  • Professional development opportunities tailored to your growth.
  • End-of-trip facilities at our office on Collins Street, Melbourne.

How to Apply

Please apply with your CV and cover letter detailing how your experience and career interests align with the key responsibilities and competencies of this role.
