TRAINING & OD - ADJUNCT FACULTY
This is a part-time position. Person must be able to work Monday - Friday
between 9:00am - 6:00pm. Scheduled hours can range from 15 - 20 hours
per week depending on assigned projects. Person must be available to be
onsite at our Columbia, MD office 1 - 2 days per week.
The Adjunct Faculty - Learning Specialist - is responsible for designing, developing and facilitating ad hoc and scheduled training in a variety of delivery methods. The role will primarily focus on management and leadership development curriculum but will support delivery of compliance and workforce development courses, as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Applying proven adult learning methodologies, develop and deliver engaging content for instructor-led, virtual, and blended training
• Work both independently or in conjunction with other team members
• Review effectiveness of course content and materials and implement changes as needed
• Provide thorough quality assurance of course materials
• Support the research and analysis of materials for internal L&D publications
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service
Experience:
• Corporate learning, adult/higher education, or other training setting required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Teams required.
• Proficiency in using Articulate 360, Captivate, or other course authoring tools is preferred.
• John Maxwell Leadership certification preferred.
Education:
High school diploma
The pay range for this position is $35.00 to $40.00. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
