The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Niche, the Training Manager, Niche is a pivotal role responsible for championing and custodianship of the Niche brand portfolio across Oceania.

Through immersive storytelling, best-in-class commercial training, and hands-on field support, this role elevates the capabilities of our retail teams, drives performance, and ensures every customer interaction reflects the extraordinary world of each Niche brand. The Training Manager will be the connective tissue between global brand vision and the Oceania retail experience, inspiring teams to sell with passion, knowledge, and authenticity.

What you'll get to do

Brand Custodianship & Storytelling
• Be the definitive Niche brand ambassador for Oceania, living and breathing each brand's DNA, heritage, and ethos.
• Deliver compelling brand storytelling that enables teams to authentically connect customers with each brand's universe.
• Immerse teams in the sensorial world of each brand – fragrance, design, culture, and narrative.
• Maintain alignment with Global Brand Education teams on direction, product updates, and materials.

Commercial Training & Coaching
• Design and deliver training programs covering product knowledge, sales skills, and service excellence.
• Run workshops, classroom sessions, and on-floor coaching across the Oceania retail network.
• Coordinate inductions for new team members, bringing them into each brand's world with confidence.
• Work with store managers to identify team development needs and implement tailored training solutions.
• Track training effectiveness against KPIs and iterate programs for continuous improvement.
• Coach teams to drive sales through storytelling, upselling, cross-selling, and fragrance expertise.


Field Support & Events
• Conduct regular counter visits and on-floor coaching to embed learning and reinforce standards.
• Prepare teams for new product launches in partnership with Marketing – ensuring readiness on day one.
• Support and lead in-store events, brand activations, and seasonal launches across the region.
• Develop animation guides and counter looks to inspire teams during key commercial periods.
• Represent the Niche portfolio at local and global PR events and activations as required.

We'd love to meet you if you have

• Approximately 5 years + Background in Education, Training, or a Field role within luxury beauty or niche fragrance.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training that drives both cultural alignment and commercial results.
• Experience coaching retail teams across service, storytelling, and sales performance.
• Comfortable representing multiple distinct brand identities within a portfolio environment.
• Experience supporting retail events, activations, and product launches at a regional level.

Education:
• Degree or Diploma in Business, or Cert IV in Training and Assessment preferrable but not essential.
Competencies and Specific Knowledge required:
• Genuine passion for niche fragrance and luxury retail, with deep appreciation for brand storytelling.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, able to captivate and inspire diverse audiences.
• Commercial mindset with understanding of retail KPIs and how training connects to performance.
• Highly organised and self-motivated; able to manage a regional field schedule independently.
• Strong relationship builder across retail partners, internal teams, and global stakeholders.
• Willing and able to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand.
