Our mission "Transform mobility for everyone" is driven by the desire to create a sustainable future by offering digital and forward-looking solutions that truly change everyday life for both our customers and all travelers.

Our contribution to society:

We are working closely with some of the largest customers in railway infrastructure (Bane NOR) and public transport (Sporveien) in Norway. Among other things, we are delivering a completely new digital signaling system for the railway, the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) and for the Oslo metro, Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC). The ERTMS project is the largest digitalization project in Norway to date.

What your day-to-day may look like:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Training Manager to lead, coordinate, and deliver technical training programs for customers, subcontractors, and Siemens Mobility employees. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and governance of training activities, ensuring the successful development of technical competencies and skills required to support complex mobility solutions and long-term service operations.

The Training Manager will have a strong focus on project management, overseeing the end-to-end training workstream, managing schedules, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. • Responsible for maintaining engaging digital learning solutions, including e-learning courses, training materials, and the training facility (HW & SW).
  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of technical trainers, fostering excellence in training delivery.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, including all preparation and follow-up activities.
  • Liaise with Siemens Mobility's global training centers to align training content, methodologies, and standards.
  • Manage review and approval processes with customers and key stakeholders, and ensure updated training documentation.
  • Ensure all contractual training obligations are fulfilled, including training records, assessments, attendance tracking, participant feedback, and reporting.
  • Deliver technical training courses and knowledge transfer sessions to various target groups as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management (QM), Configuration Management (CM), and Documentation Management (DM) requirements within the training function.
  • Support project execution by contributing to schedule, cost, and quality targets for the training workstream, in close collaboration with the Project Manager (PM) and Commercial Project Manager (CPM).

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a critical training function within a high-profile customer project, helping ensure the successful development of skills and operational readiness across all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training management, learning and development, or a related field within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of modern learning methodologies, including instructor-led training, blended learning approaches, and digital learning solutions such as e-learning platforms.
  • Experience developing training concepts, materials, and competency development frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across complex project organizations.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Norwegian and/or German is considered an advantage.

Personal Attributes

  • We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional who thrives in a dynamic project environment and demonstrates:
  • A proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • A strong customer focus and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Coaching and mentoring capabilities, with a passion for developing people and fostering knowledge transfer.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A results-oriented mindset combined with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • A collaborative team-player attitude, building strong relationships across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
