Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Training Lead.
Ensure workforce capability and compliance through the effective management of training and certification processes, supporting business objectives, operational excellence, and applicable legal requirements.
A. Conduct organizational training needs assessments in partnership with department leaders to identify competency gaps and development opportunities.
B. Develop and maintain the Annual Training Plan aligned with business objectives, workforce needs, and approved budget.
C. Design, develop, and implement training programs and learning initiatives to support organizational capability and ensure execution of the Business.
D. Manage the training budget and optimize the utilization of training resources to maximize effectiveness and return on investment.
E. Administer and oversee the certification process for hourly employees, ensuring timely qualification, recertification, and compliance with established standards.
F. Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning events, including all related logistics such as scheduling, training materials, presentations, facilities, equipment, and participant arrangements.
G. Ensure adequate attendance and participation of the target audience in all required training activities.
H. Measure, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance indicators, implementing improvements as needed.
I. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date training records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
J. Monitor and ensure the timely update and accuracy of skills matrices within production areas to support workforce qualification and flexibility.
K. Ensure readiness and compliance for internal, customer, corporate, and regulatory audits related to training and competency management systems.
L. Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory training requirements, including STPS regulations and reporting obligations.
O. Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and administrative oversight for the Training Technicians team.
P. Promote and drive the effective utilization of corporate learning platforms and training tools, including Eaton University and other learning management systems.
Q. Lead and continuously improve the onboarding process to ensure new employees are effectively integrated, trained, and prepared for success within the organization.
R. Comply with and adhere to the policies and procedures established in the applicable Management Systems (EQMS, MESH, Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 standards) to ensure compliance with the Management System.
