The Training Lead (IT) is accountable for establishing, leading, and continuously evolving the enterprise Training Practice within the IT organization. This role defines training strategy, standards, and methodologies while also designing and delivering high‑impact learning solutions for technology platforms and systems. As a recognized expert, the Training Lead mentors and develops training practitioners, ensures quality and consistency of learning solutions, and drives a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in training

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise IT Training Practice strategy aligned to organizational goals

  • Establish and standardize training methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of training practitioners, including hiring and capability development

  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of training programs for software applications and systems

  • Conduct training needs analysis and ensure learning solutions meet business and learner needs

  • Ensure quality, consistency, and effectiveness of training delivery across the organization

  • Partner with IT leaders, business stakeholders, and vendors to align training initiatives

  • Drive continuous improvement by monitoring outcomes and incorporating emerging learning trends and technologies

Key Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in training and development, including leading enterprise training teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Education, Instructional Design, or related field; CTDP or equivalent certification preferred

  • Deep expertise in training methodologies, adult learning theory, and instructional design

  • Proven experience designing and delivering training for enterprise technology platforms and applications

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities

  • Experience building and maintaining training content, course materials, and LMS solutions

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, business‑focused learning solutions

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $90,729.60 to $113,422.40 with a maximum of $136,094.40.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
