Job:

To support the Service Qualification department with network communications and training calendar management & administration. Liaising internally within the department to ensure internal communications are high and continuous. Manage and develop training centre on technician arrival and check in processes.

This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying an Undergraduate degree at university, seeking a placement for their third year. The role will commence in August 2027. Please ensure that you have read and understood the requirements of the role before applying.

Responsibilities:

  • To act as a direct contact between the Porsche Dealer Network and Porsche Cars Technical Training department for day-to-day training enquiries
  • Maintain and administer the online Porsche Academy Learning Management System (PALMS) in conjunction with the Training team. Ensure that the system is accurate with regards to:
  • Proactively manage the Learning Management System, reviewing the integrity and usability of the system and database on an ongoing basis and research, recommend and project manage necessary changes.
  • Co-ordinate training resources including:
  • Manage communication with all training delegates.
  • To proactively manage the online training progression of staff in the Porsche Network using their individual learning paths. This includes reporting on the progress of staff in Porsche Centres with regards to these Centre’s compliance with Porsche AG Training Certification requirements.
  • Ensure that all relevant course charges are applied in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with Financial Department guidelines.
  • Promotion of the department’s key achievements and developments internal and external.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Studying a Business Events or Communications related Undergraduate degree at university.
  • Excellent level of PC literacy, including MS-Office, Excel, Word.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills.
  • A driving licence is desirable not essential.

Porsche Cars GB Ltd and Porsche Retail Head Office is located conveniently by junction 12 of the M4, adjacent to a retail park, gym, and well-known fast-food restaurants. It is within walking distance of Theale's main line train station and a bus stop which operate regular services to Reading Town Centre.
