Job Title: Training & Documentation Coordinator

Overall Purpose:Evaluate training and documentation compliance to the needs of Timken NA Rail quality systems.Use and grow established training methods and documented instructions to drive training efforts and associate knowledgebase at the Timken Mascot facility and where applicable to other NA Rail facilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Act as a role model, coach, and trainer for new associates to foster a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across many layers; professional interaction (e.g., management, operations, corporate, external agencies)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience working in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • May require prolonged periods of sitting/standing/walking
  • Moderate twisting and bending.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, powered equipment, hand tools and gauges
  • Vision must be normal (20/20). Correctional lenses are acceptable.
  • May participate in hearing conservation program

Environmental Conditions:

  • Loud manufacturing environment, exposure to metals, machine lubricants, rust preventative and other process ​chemicals, seasonal cold/heat.

Protective Clothing and Personal Devices:

  • Safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves. Other specialized protective equipment may be required based on area assignment.
