TrafoSchool is our global learning and development team for engineering. We focus on building skills, expertise, and career paths for engineers across all locations.

The team works closely with business, engineering experts, and external partners. Together, we design how people learn, grow, and develop in a global environment.

TrafoSchool is about more than training delivery.
It is about creating structured development, building competence, and shaping the future of engineering capabilities.

Position: Training & Development Senior Professional (Platform)

Location: Łódź, Poland

You will shape how platforms and software engineers develop their skills across the organization.
Your role is to build a clear and structured approach to capability development — from defining competencies to designing training and measuring progress.

You will work closely with engineering teams and experts to translate business and technology needs into practical development paths.
Based in Łódź, you will also support on-site training and work within a global TrafoSchool setup that drives engineering capability at scale.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Platform Engineering Competency Framework

Define and maintain a skills framework for Platform Engineering roles. Align competencies with roadmaps, standards, and development paths.

  • Skills & Competence Mapping

Create and maintain skill matrices. Assess current vs. target levels, identify gaps, and prioritize development.

  • Training & Development Architecture

Design role-based development paths and training setup (internal, SME, external). Align training with competency gaps.

  • SME & External Training Coordination

Coordinate internal experts and external providers. Ensure high-quality, consistent training content.

  • Training Execution (Platform Engineering)

Plan and deliver training activities following TrafoSchool standards. Manage scheduling, communication, and participation.

  • Local F2F Training Coordination (GEC)

Organize on-site trainings at GEC, including logistics, facilities, and local support.

  • Monitoring & Governance

Track KPIs on competencies and training effectiveness. Report progress and drive continuous improvement.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Informatics, or related field.
  • Strong background in software engineering and platform development environments.
  • Experience working with large software development teams.
  • Proven experience in skills and competency mapping, capability development, or structured technical training programs.
  • Experience coordinating technical trainings, SMEs, and external providers.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-functional organization.
  • Fluent English.
