As part of its development Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens and seeks a Training & Development Officer
The Training & Development Officer is a member of the Employee Learning & Development team within HR and contributes to the training and development of employees across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
The role supports the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s learning initiatives by leveraging modern learning tools and practices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training programs (induction and refresher trainings) on topics such as products/services, soft skills, and systems, ensuring a high-quality learning experience and alignment with business unit needs
- Participate in Learning & Development projects across the organization (e.g. onboarding, skill development, compliance initiatives), from design through implementation
- Contribute to the design and development of training materials (classroom and e-learning), aiming to create modern and effective learning experiences
- Utilize the LMS platform as a core learning tool for managing, delivering, and monitoring training activities (learning paths, user experience, reporting, progress tracking)
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives through KPI analysis and participant feedback evaluation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and address training needs
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning processes, tools, and overall learning experiences
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in a Training & Development or training-related role, with active involvement in the design and delivery of training programs
- Experience in the design, coordination, and evaluation of training and/or development initiatives
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for the design, delivery, and development of training programs
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Human Resources)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint)
- Excellent command of the English language
