Objective: The Training Coordinator provides administrative support for CFB’s Learning and Development program. Using content provided by subject matter experts, this role creates clear, professional learning materials such as presentations, attendee workbooks, job aids, and facilitation guides. The position also coordinates course and onboarding communications, schedules, systems, logistics, and follow-up. The Training Coordinator may help facilitate new-hire onboarding, but the role primarily focuses on administration, program coordination, and continuous improvement.
Classification: This is a Full-Time exempt position and reports to the Training Manager
Job Location: Howard (home base) and Hamilton County (for training purposes)

- Provides organized, responsive administrative support to CFB’s Learning and Development team and serves as a helpful point of contact for employees, supervisors, facilitators, and subject matter experts.
- Partners with subject matter experts to turn approved content into clear, engaging, and consistent learning materials, including PowerPoint presentations, attendee workbooks, job aids, activities, and facilitation guides.
- Formats, proofreads, updates, organizes, and maintains course materials and training records so resources remain accurate, accessible, and aligned with CFB standards.
- Coordinates pre-employment and pre-onboarding communications with new hires, including timely instructions, schedules, reminders, and other required information.
- Creates and manages invitations, registrations, calendars, rosters, materials, room or virtual-session details, and communications for internal and external learning opportunities.
- Collaborates with supervisors to create practical 90-day onboarding plans for their new hires and documents agreed-upon activities, milestones, and responsibilities.
- Conducts and documents 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins with new hires, escalating themes, questions, or support needs to the appropriate partner.
- Supports new-hire onboarding sessions and may assist with facilitation, activities, and participant questions as needed; this responsibility is secondary to the role’s administrative and program-support duties.
- Enters new employees into CFB’s learning management systems, assigns required courses, maintains learner records, monitors completion, and produces reports.
- Tracks training needs, enrollment, attendance, required completions, deadlines, and follow-up actions; communicates status and concerns to employees, supervisors, and the Learning and Development team.
- Follows up with participants and stakeholders through meetings, surveys, feedback forms, and other methods to measure course effectiveness, learner experience, application, and value.
- Compiles and summarizes evaluation results, participation data, completion information, and recurring feedback to support continuous improvement and reporting.
- Researches internal and external education and development opportunities, including courses, providers, formats, schedules, and costs.
- Assists in evaluating external training opportunities for quality, relevance, accessibility, expected value, and alignment with identified business or employee-development needs.
- Coordinates bank-wide learning initiatives and helps ensure program milestones are met within approved budgets and established procedures.
