GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Training Coordinator is tasked to perform administrative and reporting duties to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events, allocations, and special projects. The Training Coordinator will manage, design, develop, and coordinate workflows and processes to optimize the working efficiencies of the larger training team. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for the periodic development, design, and maintenance of Convey’s Learning Management System (LMS). Some facilitation may be involved. This position reports to the Training Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Convey Health programs, products, policies and technology.
• Identify and obtain the supplies, equipment and materials necessary for successful delivery of facilitator-led classes, eLearning classes, and special projects
• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
• Use accepted education principles and track new training methods and techniques
• Conduct organization wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed

• Develops, coordinates, schedules and maintains all training courses and programs
• Collects, compiles and reports results of evaluation, attendance and training data
• Communicates data and reports as needed
• Prepares and documents procedures for employees and management who are appointed for training
• Maintains management training tracking process, enters data, tracks completion and processes communication and certification to recipients and market leadership
• Develops, Implements, Administers and Maintains a Training Management System
• Manages training materials stipulated by regulations
• Researches training suppliers and materials as needed – including details, cost comparison, and timelines
• Assists with greeting visitors in the building. Documents outside visitors to the building
• Collects and distributes training mail and shipments
• Orders supplies for training and training department as needed
• Balance competing demands of different projects and clients
• Evaluate, select, develop and apply appropriate development methodologies and designs, both individually and in consultation with line manager and/or colleagues
• Represent Convey Health Solutions when dealing with external customers
• Accomplish other tasks as assigned by a duly authorized member of training leadership

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Sound knowledge of training design theories and principles.
• Must have a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.
• Must have a high level of proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (including Captivate, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc.)
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
