Region APC > Customer Project Execution - APAC > Site Execution Management AUNZ

AUNZ Installation and Commissioning - Co-ordinate, plan and organize training and resourcing both internally and externally associated with construction projects

Responsibilities

Training

  • Coordinate with internal training APAC academy for the training demand & forecast, verify pre-requisites of training needs for the role specifics particularly for installation resources for AUNZ region
  • Develop training plan and coordinate training forecast for every AUNZ Installation (Internal & external) resource
  • Maintain & ensure to have the training records of have been updated by verifying course completion certificates with training academy & external training providers
  • Ensuring everyone deployed to sites are fully trained with valid certificates as per local requirements
  • Identify the gaps and align with respective stakeholders to ensure completion of relevant & required training courses are fulfilled to adhere with KPIs
  • Creation of Initials / External ID as required for training & external resource mobilization
  • Ensuring the PO / Proforma are booked for training courses by closely working with internal cost control teams & follow-up until payment completion
  • Coordination meetings & ensure follow-up actions with both internal and external stakeholders towards training coordination
  • Report generation on status and mitigation plans to ensure 100% training compliance

Resourcing

  • Resource Demand Vs Resource Gap analysis and planning for AUNZ region
  • Monitoring workforce gaps, analyzing trends, and implementing mitigation strategies to optimize resource utilization
  • Creating and maintaining a detailed resource plan across the projects, covering both internal and external workforce needs for seamless execution
  • Developing, maintaining, and monitoring timely reporting of both internal and external manpower, including tracking workforce movements across multiple sites
  • Conducting regular stakeholder meetings to address workforce planning, challenges, and operational efficiencies
  • Coordinating with external agencies for efficient mobilization of manpower as per Vestas' labor hire agreements
  • Working efficiently with internal and external cross-functional teams to enhance workforce planning and operational effectiveness
  • Maintaining a comprehensive manpower database, including training records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards
  • Collaborating with the Mobility & Compliance team to facilitate travel, visas, and work permits for personnel deployed overseas to construction sites when required

Qualifications

  • Engineering / construction / management qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Wind experience highly regarded

Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in providing project co-ordination support to large scale projects
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Reporting of budgetary requirements and recovery of costs for training provisions
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in high-pressure situations and the ability to make decisions
  • Experience in preparing and presenting reports
